I see this morning that Barry Bonds hit HR#713, one shy of Babe Ruth’s record. I think it’s shameful that Bonds continues to pursue this record when it seems clear he’s a steroid-induced phony. The Babe did it with beer and hotdogs. Hank Aaron didn’t need drugs. Barry Bonds should do the right thing: leave the record stand, and retire with what little dignity he has left.

I just hope Albert Puhols stays healty, steps up to the plate, and shatters every record Bonds ever set.
