Lately I’ve been playing a new RPG on the XBox 360, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (also on PC). In the past I’ve mostly played shooters or motorsports games, but I’ve been really enjoying this. It’s very non-linear and can be quite addictive. I’m not a serious gamer, so I often use a game guide here and there to get me through without running in circles. For Oblivion, one can fork out $20 for the official Prima game guide. I like the Prima guide. It’s well done and comprehensive. But there’s also a really decent unofficial free guide in PDF format making its rounds. You can get it by clicking here.

Thanks for the guide, I appreciate it.
stupid vampirism
Zarrar, if you didn’t want to become a vampire you should have cured the disease before it spread. Once you get it you’re stuck with it until you can find a cure. Talk with Ramius in the Arcane Uni. Lobby, he’ll give you more information on how to find a cure. He will tell you to speak with the count of Skyngrad, who will then tell you of an old ‘witch’that is along the river just below Cheydinhal. You might have to pick into the house and risk being attacked by her, if that happens just yield. Once you yield, or if she’s sleeping, talk to her about a cure for vampirism. She will then send you on a quest to colelct ingredients for the cure: bloodgrass, nightshade, garlic, Argonian blood ( she will give you a special dagger. You best not do this in sneak, you don’t have to kill the person. Just stab the Argonian, that’s enough. Raise their disposition for you to max to ensure the lizard doesn’t attack you. I, however, killed him because my blade was too high; damn homeless are weak!), and special vampire dust of an ancient vampire locked away in a cave (far south-east of Cheydinhal). Once you get all those ingredients give them to the witch and she will make your cure (you might have to wait from a game-day to two game-weeks). She will present you with two cures, one for you and the other for the count of Skyngrad. You can use this to cure your vampirism, if you want. I personally enjoy the vampirism, I just have to feed nightly. There is another way, but it’s PC only. It requires an expansion (which costs a fair price of $1.00 - $2.00 off of the Elder Scrolls official site’s download page) called Deepscron Hallow. Once you purchase this expansion you will get a message on your player’s screen sayign you got some property at the very south of Cyridiil. Once you found the property there will be a new character in the Wawnet Inn just outside the Imperial City on the west side. He will sell you upgrades for your lair in Deepscron Hallow. Once you purchase some stuff there will be a rare ingredient called Purgeblood Salts in some ‘chests’. These can also be used to cure your vampirism WITHOUT consulting Ramius, Count Skyngrad, or the witch. This is the easiest way to cure vampirism, if you have some spare change to purchase the expansion. Anyways, that is how you cure your vampirism, but I’d like to warn anyone trying to cure it with a personal note. Once you cure it, you CANNOT become a vamprie again, even if you contact porphyria hemophilia from being attacked by a vampire after being cured. If you let the disease just sit there, it will only damage your fatigue (although minimal). I hope this helps you Zarrar, and anyone else seeking the cure for vampirism in The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.
