Petit Le Mans 2006
Missy and I went to the 9th running of the American Le Mans Series Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta, Brasselton, GA (27-30 Sep. 2006). This was an awesome race (10 hours) on a terrific road course, for a series that is about as fan-friendly as it gets. We had a great time, and have already booked a hotel for next year. We took pictures which I have posted on my web site at wette.us. They aren’t that great: I’m not a very good photographer, and I’m doing this with a point and click digital camera where I really need a SLR with a telephoto lens.
During the race weekend, the 12-race 2007 ALMS calendar was announced. We’re planning to attend Sebring and Petit Le Mans. Here’s the schedule:
